College days - Il periodo universitario

Ki Hyung-do, College days

So many books were thrown away under the wooden benches
The forest of white poplar was deep and beautiful but
In there even a single leaf was used as a weapon
When arriving at the beautiful forest the young men
were passing closed their eyes
Just as they were determined, on the stairs of stones
I read Plato, and every other time I heard a gunshot
In the season of magnolia my friends were gone for prison and army
A junior colleague who writing poems confessed me
that he was a secret agent of government
I had a respectable professor, who hardly said a word.
After a few winter I left alone
Then I graduated. I was afraid of leaving my university.

Dopo qualche inverno divenni solitario
